Before I could even begin to create and develop my magazine ideas I had to do a lot of research into current magazines in varying different genres, themes and topics to see what worked and didn't and take aspects of what was working to include in my own creation. This research was especially useful to me because not only did you get knowledge of the industry but also got to see differences in styles, genres and layouts used. |
